McNeill Qualifies for Nationals in 3000-Meters - NAU AthleticsPublished by
(02/16/2008) SEATTLE, Wash. - On strength of his 7:50.37
time in the 3000-meter run at the Husky Classic, freshman David McNeill
has secured a bid to the NCAA Indoor Championship, in addition to
winning the individual event at the highly competitive meet. At
the University of Washington, the Lumberjacks were well-represented by
several of the top distance runners, who ran against some of the
nation’s most successful programs. Not intimidated by the competition,
Lesley van Miert recorded an NCAA provisional qualifying time in the
