National Championship Performances Lead This Week's Performance of the Week List

This was a week of national championships with New Balance Nationals Indoor, the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships and the USATF 15 km Championships all taking place. We saw an American record, a collegiate record, three high school records, and multiple all-time performances. View the choices and vote for the DyeStat Performance of the Week!

Shadajah Ballard: The high school senior from Western Branch VA won the 60-meter hurdles at New Balance Nationals Indoor in 8.11, equaling fifth on the prep all-time performer list. (Results). Watch the race.

Mario Heslop: The high school senior from Franklin NJ won the 200 meters at New Balance Nationals Indoor in 20.90, ranking him fifth on the prep all-time list. He also finished third in the 60 meters in 6.73. (Results). Watch the race.

Grant Holloway: The Florida junior broke the American record in the 60-meter hurdles at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships, running 7.35. That is third on the all-time list. He also won the 60 meters in 6.50 and finished third in the long jump with a mark of 26-1 (7.95m). (Results).

Jessica Hull: The Oregon senior won the 3,000 meters at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships, running 9:01.14. She also anchored her team to win the distance medley relay in 10:53.43. (Results).

Jungle Track Club Boys: The boys from Loudoun Valley VA broke the national high school records for the distance medley relay (11:54.41) and the 4xMile relay (17:01.81). They also won the 4x800 relay (7:40.49) with the third best prep time ever. (Results). Watch the DMR4xMile and 4x800.

Erika Kemp: The distance runner won the USATF 15 km Championships by 14 seconds, running 50:54. (Results). Watch the race.

Shadrack Kipchirchir: The distance runner won the USATF 15 km Championships by one second, running 43:41. (Results). Watch the race.

Jasmine Moore: The high school senior from Mansfield Lake Ridge TX won the long jump and triple jump at New Balance Nationals Indoor with marks of 20-9.25 (6.33m) and 44-2.50 (13.47m), respectively. Her triple jump mark ranks her second on the prep all-time performer list on her long jump ranks her 10th. (Results). Watch the long jump.

Payton Otterdahl: The North Dakota State senior became the first male athlete to win the shot put and weight throw at the same NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships in 15 years. He won with marks of 71-2.75 (21.71m) in the shot put and 79-1.25 (24.11m) in the weight throw. (Results).

Tyrell Richard: The South Carolina State senior won the 400 meters at the NCAA Division 1 Indoor Championships in 44.82. That ranks him fifth on the all-time list. (Results).

Morgan Smalls: The high school junior from Panther Creek NC won the high jump in a junior class record at New Balance Nationals Indoor. Her clearance of 6-3.25 (1.91m) ranks her second on the prep all-time list. She also finished fourth in the long jump with a mark of 19-11.50 (6.08m) and second in the triple jump with a mark of 41-9.75 (12.74m). (Results). Watch the high jump.

Katelyn Tuohy: The high school junior from North Rockland NY broke the meet record in the 2 Mile at New Balance Nationals Indoor in 9:51.05. She also anchored the winning distance medley relay team to a time of 11:41.84. (Results). Watch the race.

Briana Williams: The high school junior from Northeast (Oakland Park) FL won the 60 meters at New Balance Nationals Indoor in 7.28, equaling 12th on the prep all-time performer list. (Results). Watch the race.

Micah Williams: The high school junior from Benson OR won the 60 meters at New Balance Nationals Indoor in a junior class record 6.60. That ranks him third on the prep all-time list. (Results). Watch the race.
